How we helped

The Gowerton Road warehouse were looking to reduce the walking time for goods out and goods in labelling requirements, they had PM43 Honeywell industrial printers in use on site but the locations of these meant quiet a lot of walking to collect labels and then attach to the goods. We worked with them to install a WIFI module into the printer and manufactured a bespoke powered trolley which basically means they have mobile print work stations which allows the printers to be moved to any areas within the warehouse where printing is required, this had saved operators time and allowed labels to be printed on demand rather than printed in batches, printing on demand reduces the risk of the wrong label being applied which is possible if lots of pre-printed labels are to be applied as a separate labelling task.  Because of the volume of labels required they needed the PM43 printer rather than a mobile printer.
